About Us

Over two years ago, a group of dedicated and ambitious students and young professionals created what has today become The Paradise Fund. Beginning with the creation of the Paradise Ball in 2005, an event aimed at bringing together the new generation of young professionals from Palm Beach and abroad, our goal has been to gather the community in order to educate our generation of the ongoing political, environmental, and social problems being faced by people around the world today. At last year's Paradise Ball on December 31st, hundreds of young individuals welcomed in the New Year in support of The ONE Campaign, raising awareness for global poverty, and Product (Red), aiding in the fight against the global AIDS endemic. Since its inception, The Paradise Fund has grown exponentially and is currently pending 501 (c) 3 tax-exemption status. Each year the patrons of the Paradise Fund will elect a different cause that our events will benefit.

This year's first annual Paradise Casino Night, taking place on November 24th, and third annual Paradise Ball on New Years Eve, will benefit The Turtle Nest Village (TNV), a local charity based out of West Palm Beach, Florida. The Turtle Nest Village aids in the prevention of the homelessness and despair that are often an unintended consequence of the foster care system. TNV is committed to giving former foster youth the opportunities essential for self-sufficiency and healthy development by providing them with a place to live, an education, work readiness preparation, life skills training, health care, counseling and mentoring.
